During AFTRS Broadcast Assessment 2NRS - Brekky with Helena, Owen, and Paddy - the team were on a quest to see if they could become DJs in one week.

With Professional DJ Helena Ellis unsure, Owen and Paddy went on a quest to make 'Draft Punk' become the next best thing.

Show Radio was a pop-up radio station for the Sydney Royal Easter Show. Run by AFTRS Graduate Diploma Radio students.

Featuring students from the Australian Film Television and Radio School's class of 2021 Graduate Diploma Radio, Broadcasting live from the Sydney Royal Easter Show.

the first major assessment and broadcasting debut on Sydney commercial radio. Students experienced the roles of announcer, producer, digital content producer, field reporter & panel operator.

The Brief:
Prepare and record a 2 ½ minute audio feature or first episode of a podcast, fiction, or non-fiction, on an interesting topic of your choice, exploring the theme of community.


End Product:
I created a fictional character known as llewellyn jenkins - a failed athlete from wales now living in regional australia, trying to make his big break in the media. The podcast series explores him looking for his 'aussie's best sports team'
